For this we log the ordering of the newsletter, the sending of the order e-mail and the receipt of the answer requested in this e-mail. No other data is collected. The data is only used for sending the newsletter and is not disclosed to third parties. You may at any time withdraw your consent to your personal data being stored and used to send the newsletter. Using and sharing personal data
We only use personal data in the context of the customer relationship for our own purposes relating to products services and marketing. In the event that third parties are involved in any work processes which would require the temporary sharing of your data for processing exclusively for this purpose, we apply the same high standards and require such third parties to comply with data protection provisions under an agreement for the processing of data in accordance with Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Opt out
We would like to use your data to inform you about our products, services and innovations and, where applicable, to ask questions about them. If you object to your data being used for marketing purposes, you can notify us of this informally at any time so that we can block your data accordingly.

Google Analytics
Data is stored in anonymised form for statistical purposes and to improve the user-friendliness of our website. For this purpose the Wilhelm Layher GmbH & Co KG website uses the Google Analytics tool, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (Google). This service also makes use of cookies. These cookies enable your use of our website to be analysed. The information about the way you use our website created by the cookie is sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA.

If IP anonymisation is activated, the IP address is truncated beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, usually before it is sent to the USA. However, in exceptional cases this may only take place locally. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the way you use our website, to collate reports on website activities and in order to provide us with other services related to website and Internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google.

You can prevent the installation of the cookies by activating the relevant security settings of your browser software at any time; however, we point out that in that case you will not be able to use all the functions of this website.

However, you can prevent data relating to your use of the website being collected and processed by Google as referred to above. To do this, you must download and install the browser plugin from the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API in order to display visual geographical information. Google also collects, processes and uses data relating to the way you use the map function when working with Google Maps. More information about how Google processes data is available in the Google Data Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de). You can also change your personal data privacy settings in the data protection centre.

Embedded YouTube videos
Our websites contain embedded YouTube videos. The relevant plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page which contains a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to YouTube servers. YouTube is then informed about the page that you visit. If you are logged in using your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. If you wish to avoid this, you should log out of your YouTube account in advance.

If a YouTube video starts, the provider uses cookies to collect information about your user behaviour.

If you have disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you can expect that no cookies will be set even when you watch YouTube videos. However, YouTube stores nonpersonal use information in other cookies. If you do not wish this to happen, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

More information about data privacy and YouTube can be found in the provider's data privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

YouTube with expanded data protection integration
Our website embeds videos of the website YouTube. The website operator is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use YouTube in the expanded data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. Nevertheless, this does not necessarily mean that the sharing of data with YouTube partners can be ruled out as a result of the expanded data protection mode. For instance, regardless of whether you are watching a video, YouTube will always establish a connection with the Google DoubleClick network. As soon as you start to play a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube’s servers will be established. As a result, the YouTube server will be notified, which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account while you visit our site, you enable YouTube to directly allocate your browsing patterns to your personal profile. You have the option to prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Furthermore, after you have started to play a video, YouTube will be able to place various cookies on your device or comparable technologies for recognition (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way YouTube will be able to obtain information about this website’s visitors. Among other things, this information will be used to generate video statistics with the aim of improving the user friendliness of the site and to prevent attempts to commit fraud. Under certain circumstances, additional data processing transactions may be triggered after you have started to play a YouTube video, which are beyond our control. The use of YouTube is based on our interest in presenting our online content in an appealing manner. Pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this is a legitimate interest. For more information on how YouTube handles user data, please consult the YouTube Data Privacy Policy under: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Social plugins
On our website we give you the opportunity to use social media buttons. The buttons are purely integrated as graphics that contain a link to the appropriate website for the button provider. If you click on the graphics, you are forwarded to the services of the relevant provider and you thus make your data available to this provider. If you do not click on the graphic, there is no exchange of information between you and the providers. You can find information on how the social networks collect and use your data in the conditions of use for the relevant provider. We have integrated the following social media buttons on our website:

Layher app
We do not process any personal data when you use Layher's app. However, in order to use the application we need your permission to access the camera on your smart phone. This authorisation is only required so that the application can be used for the purpose for which it was intended. When we respond to a support inquiry, we only use the information you send to us to answer your inquiry.

Google AdWords
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have come to our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. These cookies cease to be valid after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user has clicked the advertisement and has been redirected to this website. All Google AdWords customers are given a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained in this way is used to produce conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers obtain information about the total number of users who have clicked their advertisement and have been redirected to a website with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information which can be used to identify users.

If you wish to decline this tracking, you can reject the setting of the required cookie by changing your browser settings to disable the automatic setting of cookies or by changing your browser settings to block cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com".

Please note that you cannot erase the opt-out cookies as long as you do not wish measuring data to be recorded. Once you have erased all your cookies in the browser, you must then set the relevant opt-out cookie again.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)
We use script libraries and font libraries, such as Google Webfonts, on this website to display our contents correctly and with an attractive graphic design in all browsers (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are used to avoid multiple loading in your browser's cache. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, contents will be displayed in a default font. Calling script or font libraries automatically creates a connection to the library operator. It is then theoretically possible for the operators of such libraries to collect data. The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

LayPLAN TO REVIT
Use of our online service LayPLAN TO REVIT as a CAD converter enables you to convert scaffolding structures planned using LayPLAN CAD to the Revit format. To make this service available to you, we are cooperating with the company CADENAS Konstruktions-, Softwareentwicklungs- und Vertriebs GmbH, Schernecker Strasse 5, 86167 Augsburg (“CADENAS”). The e-mail address collected during registration for the CAD converter is used solely to enable provision of the conversion results to you (Article 6 (1) lit. b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)). Furthermore, we use the specified registration data (e.g. customer address, country) for statistical evaluations enabling us to improve our offerings and to prevent misuse of the service (Article 6 (1) lit. f of GDPR). CADENAS processes the registration data subject to our instructions and on our behalf (Article 28 of GDPR). To that end we have concluded a corresponding agreement with CADENAS for order processing.

Your right to information, rectification, locking, erasure and objection

You have the right to receive information at any time from us about the data we hold on you.
